OSSLT是Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test的简称，即“安大略省高中英语读写能力测试”，这是全省统一的英语考试，相当于中国的会考，必须通过才可以取得OSSD高中毕业证。
因为疫情，2020年安省 OSSLT英语省考被迫取消。家长和学生一直很关心的 2021年OSSLT会不会再次被取消，如果考试，什么时候考，怎么考？
近日终于有了答案。安省省考组织单位EQAO 安大略省教育质量和问责办公室正式公布2021年省考改成机考了，而且公布了新机考的题型。
The OSSLT measures whether students are meeting the minimum standard for literacy across all subjects up to the end of Grade 9. Successful completion of the literacy test is one of the requirements to earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. All students across the province write this test.
顺利通过省考是安省高中毕业要求之一。OSSLT省考目的是检测学生是否达到9年级学生的英语读写要求。
EQAO will be field testing the online OSSLT field test from March 2021 until May 2021. The field test will be available to students participating in in-person learning and working toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). This will allow the opportunity for students in Grades 10 and 11, and non-graduating Grade 12 students, to attempt the test and, if successful, have it counted on their transcript.
EQAO将从2021年3-5月进行实地机考测试，测试将从返校面对面上课的学生开始，允许10年级，11年级和12年级非毕业生进行机考，成绩合格者将记录在他们的成绩单上。
Because the Ministry of Education has waived the literacy graduation requirement for all students graduating during the 2020–2021 school year, graduating students do not need to take the OSSLT field test.
由于安省教育部豁免了2020-2021年应届毕业生的省考毕业要求，他们无需参加测试。
2021年省考题型和往年笔试题型大同小异，仍然分成A，B两个考卷。
A卷考试时间 60分钟，有19个问题，考题包括Real life narrative 真实自传，information paragraph信息文章和news report新闻报道三篇阅读及Open Response 开放式论述题，B卷考试时间也是60分钟，涉及14个问题，考题包括 Dialogue对话，Written 写作选择题和Series of paragraphs supporting an opion 长篇观点作文三个部分。
考试结束后学生还需要完成一个问卷调查。A卷和B卷加起来共33个问题（31道选择题和2个开放式写作）。
